Camille LeBlanc-Bazinet knows exactly how difficult the competition is at the elite level in CrossFit, but she loves every minute she's doing it. "As soon as I started competing, I found myself in a situation where I was able to do much more than I thought was possible," she says. "It just snowballed from there."
Her abilities as an Olympic lifter, a gymnast, and endurance athlete are nothing short of awe-inspiring. These accomplishments have come from an almost pig-headed decision to never give up. "All of us in the [CrossFit] Games go through the wall every day. That's the difference. We embrace that pain. If I put the bar down, my hands are already on the bar the next second. I don't know if I can do it or not, I just do it."

Although Camille is not a physique athlete, she knows how vital nutrition is to her performance. "I think nutrition is bar far one of the most important things about CrossFit," she says. "You cannot out-work a bad diet. Nutrition is the base, and the workouts go on top."
"Make sure you find a nutrition plan that works for you," she advises. Although she explains that every body needs its own nutritional strategy, she has one tip that can apply to everyone: "For most people, it's, 'Eat more protein.' Definitely eat more protein."
